Danish documentary specialist distributro DOXBIO release SILVANA on April 4 2018. The film will be screened, with many connected events, on over 40 cities around Denmark.

Mantaray Film has a busy program during this years edition of Tempo Documentary Festival
Two of our films are nominated to Tempo Documentary Award, Living. Loving. by Mette AA Gardell and Silvana by Mika Gustafson, Olivia Kastebring & Christina Tsiobanelis.
Stina Gardell and Stig Björkan presents their work with the documentary about Joyce Carol Oates in the work-in-progress section and Anna Weitz presents her experiences of evaluating and measuring impact in the Tempo Impact Conference.

World premiere for Living.Loving at Nordic Light
Mantaray Films star director Stig Björkman receives The Lifetime Achievment Award Guldbagge 2018.
During the past five years, Stig Björkman and Mantaray Film have worked together on several film productions, including Ingrid Bergman: In Her Own Words (2015) and two films about Ingemar Bergman's film process: Images From The Playground (2009) and …But Film is My Mistress (2010). We are very proud of Stig and extremely excited about working with him on his newest documentary Joyce Carole Oates: I’ll Take You There (working title), with a premiere planned in late 2018.
We are honored that our films "Letters to a Serial Killer" by Manal Masri and "Silvana" by Mika Gustafson, Olivia Kastebring, & Christina Tsiobanelis have been nominated for the 2018 Guldbaggen prize for Best Documentary and that Mira Falk and Brian Dyrby from "Silvana" have also been nominated for Best Sound Design.
The gala takes place January 22 2018.

Mantaray Film co-production NOWHERE TO HIDE receives an Honorary Mention at Nordisk Panorama 2017, with the following motivation:
"We would like to give a special mention to a film that gives us a unique insight into the long-term consequences of war, from the perspective of an ordinary man whose life is turned upside-down: Nowhere to Hide."

On the 1st of September 2017 Mantaray Film together with TriArt Film and The City of Stockholm welcome audiences to a first screening of Silvana by Mika Gustafson, Olivia Kastebring och Christina Tsiobanelis followed by a unique music experience at the Stockholm City Hall.
