Peter Torbiörnsson's wonderful film about Nicaraguan woman Ninosca was awarded yesterday with the Tempo Documentary Award. The Jury's wording reads:
"A craft of the utmost mark, a monumental document that extends over 40 years. We praise a form-fitting film photo and a work based on trust built over time, where inclusive and penetraiting images give us a close study of human conditions, the power of the individual and everyone's shortcomings. A sad song about social injustice and a woman's indomitable struggle for a dignified life."
