Letters to a Serial Killer
At last, Mantaray Film was given the opportunity to throw a party in the new premises at Kattgränd 10. The old address at Tjärhovsgatan will still be used within the company's business.
"This is no representation party, but an opportunity for all project staff members to meet each other," the company director Stina Gardell explained, before she briefly mentioned all the projects currently produced by the company.
This year's Golden Manta went to Manal Masri and Frans Huhta. 2017 honorary award went to Hanna Lejonqvist for her great effort as an editor on the film Letters to a serial killer.
Our co-production Nowhere to Hide evokes strong emotions and win prizes at major festivals around the world: IDFA, Thessaloniki and most recently Best Film at the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
Mantaray Film look forward to finding ways to give the Swedish audience the opportunity to see and be inspired by the protagonist Noris tremendous courage and drive!

The stamp with Ingrid Bergman is the result of a collaboration between PostNord and the US Postal Service. It is the second time a joint issue between the United States and Sweden lead to top rankings in a international competition.
The first time was in 2005 when Greta Garbo's 100th birthday was commemorated with a stamp in both countries. Model for the award-winning Ingrid Bergman stamp is a photograph from the 1940s signed celebrity photographer Laszlo Willinger. The stamp is designed by Gustav Mårtensson, engraved by Lars Sjööblom and printed in PostNord's stamp printing in Kista, Sweden.
