Producer/CEO
Stina Gardell is a director and producer of documentary film, educated at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. She founded the production company Mantaray Film in 2005 and has since then produced 29 documentaries with theatrical release and co-produced 10 international documentaries. She received the Nordic Documentary Producer Award 2023 and has together with her company been awarded a great number of prestigious film awards over the years; Guldbaggen - The Swedish Academy Awards, PRIX - Europa, Kristallen, Ikarospriset, SilverSärilen, Dorispriset, Filmfoten and twice Best Documentary at Prix Italia.
She is also the producer/project manager of the outreach initiative ”Mantaray Impact”.
