SYNOPSIS

Siw Malmkvist is one of Sweden's most beloved artists, still warmly embraced both in her home country and in Germany, where she remains a major star. Over the course of her career, she has recorded more than 600 songs in 11 different languages. Yte despite decades in the spotlight, very little is known about who she truly is. Perhaps that's because she barely knows herself, she has spent her life working, rarely pausing to reflect. 

In MY LIFE AS SIW she takes a moment for the first time to look inward. Over the course of a year, the film follows her as she begins to ask: Who am I really? Seventy Years int he spotlight have left their mark.
